Moderate Absorbency Reusable Pads: Mint Floral

Just getting started with reusables or wanting to build your stash?  This is a terrific starting place, as this is our most popular absorbency.

Not too light and not too heavy, our moderate absorbency reusable pads are the perfect standard, daytime pad both for periods and for moderate bladder incontinence.  If you are new to reusable pads and prefer to choose some à la carte instead of buying a kit, you will probably want to start here.  Amie moderate absorbency pads are available in two sizes and handmade with love right here in Canada. This shape offers exceptional wing-coverage and a symmetrical flare. We mark absorbency in the corner of the Amie tag on the back of each pad.

Moderate Absorbency Reusable Pads

I love these. They are very comfortable and no signs of leaking. The one improvement that i would suggest is to make them odor absorbing. The high humidity and heat make them smell less than fresh.

Thanks so much for the review, Bertha. I am so happy you like your pads! I wondered if you had seen the information on Troubleshooting Your Reusable Pads here: https://amiepads.ca/blogs/news-1/troubleshooting-your-reusable-pads
If you happen to be using the pads for bladder leaks and you are finding they are retaining an odour even when they are clean, it may be a matter of a build up of ammonia. This is easily neutralized with a short soak in water with a little baking soda dissolved in it. Then, wash and dry as usual.
I hope that is helpful!

So Comfortable!

So glad I tried these reusable pads, they are so much more comfortable than disposables! I hope I can get more over time so I will have enough to wear all the time and give up the disposables. I wear them for light bladder leakage. If I had one recommendation for change, I would like if the space when snapped was a little wider. I think they are 2 1/2 inches wide now when snapped, I would like them to be about 3 inches wide when snapped. I find them a little narrow, when snapped, especially for plus sized ladies like me. It also would be nice if there were sales on the pads now and then as they are a little expensive for people on fixed incomes like me.

Hi Linda, Thank-you very much for this lovely review. I wanted to reply to both of your points, with some helpful info! First of all, the width - funny you should say you wish the space was a little wider because a few weeks ago, I had a review that said she wished the spacing was a little narrower! LOL! In any case, I have a terrific solution for you. I'm going to send you a couple of wing extenders. These are just little snap extenders that will help your pad snap a little wider and will allow you to continue to use the current width. :)
Secondly, sales - I have two suggestions here. Amie runs two sales a year, exclusively for our email subscribers. Are you on the email list? If so, you'll be hearing about the 'secret sales' in March and September. And, the other thing that might be of interest is the serged pads release that will happen in mid-February 2023. This is a limited release of pads with a slightly different construction (but the same materials) that are a little more budget-friendly. I am going to see how they go and may offer them on an ongoing basis on the website.
Warmly,
Christine

Excellent Product

I had never tried reusable pads. Once I did I placed a second order. They are comfortable, easy to take care of and the designs are very pretty. They got me through my post operative healing very well.
