How to Choose Reusable Pads

Deciding which is the best reusable pad for you isn't just about finding a quick fix – it's about making an informed choice that aligns with your unique needs. At Amie Pads, we're on a mission to guide you through this journey to comfort, confidence, and sustainability. Maybe you're looking for reusable period pads or pads for urinary incontinence. Either way, we've got you covered.

When choosing your reusable pads, you'll want to consider a few factors. You'll first need to consider the level of absorbency you'll require; the infographic below may help with that. Pay particular attention to the distinction between use of the pad for cycles or for bladder incontinence, depending on which you need. Next you'll need to decide what kind of material you'd like as the fabric against your skin. Amie pads come topped in cotton spandex - the pretty prints you see, or in athletic wicking jersey, which is our Amie Active line. And, lastly, of course, you'll need to choose how many to get. While we always suggest starting with a small number if you are unsure, you might find this blog post helpful.

We truly want you to find a pad that will work beautifully for you. If at any time, you've looked over the information here and you find yourself still unsure, please reach out via the contact form at the bottom of any page so we can help.
